Summer Builder Program 2026

What this is

Linear Lab is a small app studio with 500K+ installs and ~$1M ARR across our portfolio. This summer, we're bringing on a small group of builders to ship real apps under our umbrella.

This isn't an internship. You'll take on one of our app concepts, build it, launch it, and grow it with real users — using our playbook, our infrastructure, and our distribution muscle.

Who we're looking for

You should be in late high school or any year of college. The only real filter is whether you've already shipped real products or projects — apps, websites, tools, anything real with users. Where you go to school doesn't matter.

• Have shipped. Even something small. If your answer is "I have a great idea and I'm ready to learn," this isn't the right program.
• Vibe-code with taste. You can move fast with modern AI tooling and the apps you ship feel good to use, not just functional.
• Live on TikTok and Instagram. You know what's trending right now and can spot emerging trends before they peak. Distribution is half the job. If you're not native to these platforms, you're the wrong fit.
• Care about product, not just code. UX, UI, user psychology — what makes an app feel inevitable vs. forgettable.
• Have agency. You figure things out without being told to. You ship without permission.

What you'll do

You'll be matched to one of our app concepts in week 1. Month 1 is building the MVP — you'll spin up a TikTok or Instagram account in parallel and start growing distribution before a line of code gets written. Months 2 and 3 are refining, growing, and shipping.

Work is fully flexible — whenever and wherever. You create and close your own tickets. Communication is async on Slack with ad hoc meetings when there's a real reason for one.
